These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DeepSense application ("App") provided by Feirox ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
DeepSense is designed as an advanced security aid utilizing device hardware sensors (accelerometers, proximity, cameras) to provide anti-theft alerts and post-theft evidence gathering.
Disclaimer of Liability: No security system is infallible. While DeepSense is highly optimized, it cannot physically prevent theft. We (Feirox) are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged devices, nor for any physical or emotional distress incurred during the usage of the application. The app relies on your hardware's capabilities; a dead battery, damaged sensors, or severe force closures invoked by custom Android distributions may prevent the alarm from executing.
You agree to use DeepSense lawfully. You must not use the ImageSense and VideoSense features to illegally record individuals without their consent where local surveillance laws prohibit it. The software is strictly meant for the defense and post-theft aid of your own personal property.
DeepSense provides a capability to send automated emails directly from your device using the gmail.send API scope. By configuring this, you grant the application explicit permission to dispatch emails programmatically when an alarm sequence is initiated. DeepSense guarantees it does not read, access, nor harvest personal messages residing in your Gmail account.
DeepSense may offer premium unlockable features. Purchases are handled exclusively via Google Play Billing. It is your responsibility to manage recurring subscriptions via the Google Play Store client.
We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Significant shifts in API utilization (e.g. pivoting away from local gmail.send to third-party endpoints) heavily alter the Privacy Policy and Terms and thus would mandate an explicit prompt within the App to re-agree.
