Feirox ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy details our fundamental commitment to a "Zero-Knowledge" architecture. We do not use third-party servers to store or analyze your data. DeepSense is built to operate locally on your device.

1. Google API Services (gmail.send & Drive)

DeepSense relies heavily on standard Android capabilities and Google APIs to ensure your data stays under your control.

gmail.send Integration

DeepSense uses the gmail.send scope to deliver real-time security alerts when suspicious activity (e.g., failed unlock attempts or potential theft events via PocketSense, MoveSense, or ChargeSense) is detected on your device.

• Why we need this: We use the gmail.send scope because we respect user privacy and refuse to route your sensitive images or location data through unauthorized third-party servers.
• How it works: Upon a triggered event, the app programmatically composes and sends an email strictly containing relevant security details (timestamp, evidence images) on your behalf.
• No Data Access: The app does NOT read, access, or store any of your other email data. The requested scope is the absolute minimum required to support outbound message delivery from your device to your destination.
• User Controled: This functionality can be enabled/disabled by you within the app settings.

Google Drive Uploads

As an alternative or simultaneous measure for post-theft evidence gathering, DeepSense supports automatic background uploading of evidence (ImageSense/VideoSense) to your personal Google Drive. The application only writes evidence to an app-specific folder and does not attempt to read or access your personal files residing elsewhere in your Drive.

2. Safezone, Location & Network Data

DeepSense includes a Safezone feature designed to prevent false alarms when you are connected to trusted networks (e.g., Home Wi-Fi).

To provide this functionality, the app requires basic location permissions to fetch Wi-Fi SSID contexts. Location data and BSSID information never leave your device. It is strictly processed locally to suppress alarms conditionally.

3. AdMob & Third Party Tracking

To support the development of DeepSense, we may utilize Google AdMob to serve advertisements in the free version. AdMob may utilize advertising IDs to serve personalized ads based on your network traffic. DeepSense does not directly harvest, share, or sell any of your personalized usage, settings, or sensory data to ad networks. You may opt out of personalized advertisements strictly through your device's Google advertising settings.

4. Multi-Language Support

DeepSense is globally localized. Any language preferences or locale parameters are managed directly by your Android system configuration. DeepSense does not transmit locale profiling to external servers.

5. Data Retention

Since we do not operate backend storage servers, your data retention policy is entirely in your hands. Evidence captured by ImageSense or VideoSense stays on your local device storage, your personal Google Drive, or in your Email outbox. Deleting the app removes the local settings completely.
